A specialist in Rehabilitation Medicine and Neurology, Marco Franceschini is the clinical coordinator at IRCCS San Raffaele of the three Neuromotor Rehabilitation Operating Units, with a focus on disabilities resulting from neurological diseases.

Franceschini is Assistant Secretary of the International Society of PM&R and Honorary Member of the Italian Society of Neurological Rehabilitation. In past years, he was a Member of the National Executive of the Medical Society of Paraplegia and Vice-President of SIMFER.
He has been a Scientific Committee Member, Deputy Director and Lecturer of the Euro-Mediterranean PM&R School since 2005.
Franceschini is also Assistant Editor of European Journal of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Coordinator of the American-European Focus on the American Journal of Physical Rehabilitation and Medicine.
