Marazzi Giuseppe

Dr. Giuseppe Marazzi is head of outpatient cardiology service at St. Raphael Termini Outpatient Clinic.

In the 2010/11 academic year, he was awarded the teaching of Anatomy I and II in the undergraduate nursing course at the II University of Rome “Tor Vergata”

In the academic year 2008/09, he received his Ph.D. degree in cardiovascular sciences from the chair of cardiology at the University of Cagliari directed by Prof. Giuseppe Mercuro with a grade of EXCELLENT.

Since 2006 Fellow of the National Association of Hospital Cardiologists.

In 2006, he attended an internship at the cardiology department and cardiovascular research center directed by Prof. Michael E. Mendelshon at theNew England Medical Center -Tufts University -Boston -U.S.A.

In 2005, he attended the refresher course: “Interactive Learning Couse of Cardiology” at the University of Virginia -U.S.A.

In 2001, he attended the refresher course: “the cardiopulmonary ergometric test in cardiology” organized by A.N.M.C.O. at Fondazione S.Maugeri -Veruno directed by Dr. Pantaleo Giannuzzi

In the academic year 1998/99, he participated in the VI Postgraduate Course in Arterial Hypertension held at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” directed by Prof. Massimo Volpe

In 1998 he attended the refresher course: “Cardiology Update” at The Cornell Hospital in New York -U.S.A.

Awarded the “Luigi Condorelli” prize 1992 edition for the research protocol: “Fibrinolytic treatment in acute myocardial infarction: influence of coronary patency on the recovery of regional contractile function.

He received his residency in Cardiology (Academic Year 1994/95) with a grade of 70/70 and LODE, discussing the thesis, “Clinical criteria for the indication for myocardial revascularization.”

He registered with the Register of Surgeons of the Province of Rome on Feb. 26, 1992 with no. order 43,508.

Graduation in Medicine (13/11/1991) with a grade of 110/110 cum laude, discussing the thesis: “Echocardiographic examination during ergometric test in the study of ischemic heart disease: comparison with myocardial scintigraphy withTallium 201.”

Since the 1989/90 academic year, he has been attending the Coronary Intensive Care Unit of the 1st Chair of Cardiology directed by Prof. A. Dagianti, dealing with research in the field of therapy in cardiological emergencies.
