Disabled Adult Residential – Viterbo

TheResidential Operational Unit, accredited with the Regional Health System, has in charge 95 users followed in residential care, responding to the needs of guests who present a particular physical, behavioral and/or social vulnerability that make outpatient treatment difficult or impossible.

Users have mild to profound mental retardation, behavioral disorders, and comorbid psychiatric conditions. They are followed with individual rehabilitative projects aimed at recovering skills and competencies, maintaining and strengthening residual ones, and in some cases developing a first project of autonomy, as the purpose of rehabilitative work in group homes.

The Service has a multidisciplinary team consisting of medical managers, two psychologists, the social work service, in addition to various workers (educators, occupational therapists, support staff).
