The outdoor areas of the RSAs allow all patients to be able to carry out social welfare activities outdoors; they are also designed to fully fulfill their function as prosthetic environments therefore fully usable by those afflicted with Alzheimer’s disease. In the “Alzheimer Gardens” therefore, guests will be able to move around in spaces adapted to their sensory perceptions and motor skills changed by the merciless disease named after the Bavarian doctor who first studied it .
