The Center for Child Development of theIRCCS San Raffaele, specializes in the evaluation and treatment of congenital or acquired pediatric disabilities, which are followed from early childhood to adulthood, with a multidisciplinary organizational approach (Albertini Model), adopted since 1997 and centered on the family (the child first and the person second), in a perspective lifespan, with the ultimate goal of promoting quality of life.
The activity consists of an Ordinary Inpatient Rehabilitation Department and outpatient evaluation and treatment activities, all in a child- and family-friendly environment.

The Center for Child Development has outpatient, medical and rehabilitation clinics that specialize in the evaluation and treatment of various developmental problems (psychomotor retardation/motor control disorders, psycho-emotional or behavioral disorders, language and learning problems) that are increasingly present in pediatric/youth.
For learning problems,IRCCS San Raffaele is a Reference Center recognized by the Lazio Region for the diagnosis and certification of DSA (specific learning disorders).
Outpatient activity is also particularly important for those patients with who after hospital discharge need to continue their rehabilitation journey in a specialized setting.
