Come Raggiungerci

San Raffaele Rocca di Papa Nursing Home is located in the area south of Rome, about 2 km from Rocca di Papa, and is surrounded by a large park-garden overlooking the lake of Castel Gandolfo.

From the Rome Ring Road:

  • Ciampino exit, direction via dei Laghi.

By public transportation:

  • Metro A: Anagnina stop. Continue by COTRAL transportation.

San Raffaele Rocca di Papa offers inpatient care in long-term care.

Admission to long-term care is through the following process:

  • The Chief or other Physician of the Hospital Department in which the patient is admitted forwards a bed request to the Facility Admissions Office- via fax to 06/52255744 – specifying a telephone number to be contacted)
  • the Physician in charge of the Medical Long Term Care Unit or other Department physician evaluates the appropriateness of the request and communicates the outcome to the Admissions Office
  • The Admissions Office will place the patient on the waiting list and notify the requesting Hospital Department of bed availability.

  • ASL health card
  • ID card
  • Tax code
  • Certificate of Residence
  • Family status

Download the unique transfer request form*.

*Tosupplement and clarify, please note that the “single form for transfer request” constitutes the only document validated by the Lazio Region (Annex A) and therefore is the only form to be used for the request for admission to Post Acute Care Intensive Rehabilitation Cod 56.

It seems clear that requests for admission to DH (Day Hospital), i.e., day hospitalization in Post Acute Care Intensive Rehabilitation Cod. 56, should also be formalized by the GP on that form.

San Raffaele Rocca di Papa has four Inpatient Operating Units: two Long Term Medical Rehabilitation and one Assisted Living Residence (A.H.R.).

It then manages four waiting lists. Their training and maintenance is based on: clinical appropriateness and request history. For RSA, there is a third fundamental parameter, which is the clearance of the patient’s intake by the Multidisciplinary Evaluation Unit of Territorial competence.

The average waiting times are as follows:

  • Long-term medical rehabilitation: days 4.5;
  • RSA: 12.91 days;

The Facility is also equipped with a licensed Laboratory Analysis and Radiology for Externals. Part of the activity of the analytical laboratory is contracted with the SSR.

Requests for Radiology and Laboratory Analysis are generally processed within the same day.
