The structure

In Sabaudia, in the picturesque setting of the Circeo National Park, stands the RSA San Raffaele of the ASL of Latina, a residence accredited with the Regional Health Service among the first examples in Lazio of project finance and public private partnership. SR Sabaudia is part of San Raffaele S.p.A., a leading rehabilitation company and a landmark in research and the national health care landscape.

The San Raffaele Group has decades of clinical and nursing experience in the geriatric and gerontological fields, managing several RSAs from the center to the south of the peninsula (Lazio, Puglia and Sardinia). The goal has always been to sketch in synergy with the audience, the beginning of a new momentous change, in which the RSA are called to rethink and reshape their own offer to the territory, gradually transforming from residential realities to multi-service centers open to the changing and differentiated needs of the frail person and his or her family.

The SR Sabaudia RSA is a residential health care facility organized by nuclei that houses non-self-sufficient individuals, who cannot be cared for at home, who are provided with hospitality, health, care, functional recovery and social inclusion services. The facility designed according to the most modern architectural standards covers an area of more than 4 thousand square meters and has 60 beds with two-bed rooms and bathrooms equipped with every comfort, TV, air conditioning, wifi network. Guest services are rounded out by a comfortable reading room, functional and well-equipped rooms dedicated to occupational activities and music therapy, and a gymnasium with the latest equipment.

Patient care, supported by the best specialized knowledge and complemented by a multidisciplinary approach, is underpinned by ongoing research aimed at improving and personalizing care. The outdoor areas, covering more than 5200 square meters, were also designed to fully fulfill their function as prosthetic environments therefore fully usable by those afflicted with particular dementias and allow all patients to be able to carry out social welfare activities (garden therapy) outdoors.

Nothing is left to chance: colors, furniture, pathways, lights and vegetation are designed to allow you to space out in a “friendly,” “friendly” and safe environment according to the most modern standards established by the international medical scientific community.

Constant attention to the suffering individual, with absolute respect for his uniqueness and dignity, his needs and the quality of life of him and his family members, is the strength of the organization whose ambitious mission is to “Add life to years, not just years to life.”

The facility was accredited by DCA U00303 dated 06/10/2016 for the care of dependent persons including the elderly and provides 60 inpatient beds Level of Care Maintenance A.

With DGR of 10/8/2023 no. 469, the facility was authorized and accredited to operate for the activity of providing care for dependent persons including the elderly, providing for the conversion of the 60 beds Maintenance A, as follows:
