The San Raffaele Sulmona Nursing Home, accredited with the Regional Health System, is part of San Raffaele S.p.A., a leading rehabilitation company and a landmark in research and the national health care scene.
The Facility specializes in neuromotor rehabilitation, and is able to offer care support to individuals of all ages in the following specialties:
San Raffaele Sulmona has 101 beds, 55 of which are in ordinary inpatient care for the most complex clinical cases.
TheSpinal Unit, the flagship of the health facility, represents one of the few facilities in Italy that can provide specializedrehabilitation care for individuals with spinal cord injuries.
It is equipped, as part of robotic rehabilitation, with an exoskeleton for the verticalization and walking of the myelopathic subject.
The department has a multidisciplinary professional organizational structure aimed at the standing rehabilitation of the spinal patient.
Inpatients can rely on a range of care services such as laboratory testing, diagnostic imaging, and hydrokinesitherapy.
